From the South, travel up the M74
onto the M73(M8) signposted for Kincardine Bridge. Approximately
a mile along the M73 take the cut off for the City Centre
(M8).
Follow the M8 for just under 10 miles to Junction 15a,
signposted for the A803 and Kirkintilloch (be careful
not to come off the immediately preceding J15 Cathedral
St by mistake). Follow the directions through the three
sets of traffic lights in quick succession for the A803
Kirkintilloch (turning right, left, then right again).
Keep in the inside lane of the
dual carriageway, carrying on straight ahead through
all the traffic lights, for approximately 1 mile. You
are looking for a slip road signposted Springburn Shopping
Centre on the left. Take this slip road, turn left at
the junction at the top. Follow this road for less than
half a mile under a railway bridge to traffic lights
at a T junction. Go straight ahead and Ashfield is immediately
on your left hand side.
